Easter Message We remember Jesus’ Passion, Death, and Resurrection. We celebrate these events through our prayer and fasting in some special ways during Holy Week. We experience the darkness of the world in sin when we remember His crucifixion and death. But because He is the Son of God, sin and death have no power over Him. And so He rose from the dead. Through these events we have received the forgiveness of our sins. Let us rejoice in His Resurrection, by living as Christ lives, giving as Christ gives, and forgiving as Christ forgives. In this visible way, we can witness to the world that Christ is truly risen and alive. This is our Faith and we must be proud to profess it. We thank you for your fidelity to the Son of God and your participation in the liturgical services. During these sacred days we have been deeply blessed by your commitment. The grace of the Holy Spirit is certainly visible in our community. We have discovered the true nature of our parish, that we are a people eager to walk to Calvary, committed to the cross and hopeful in the glory of the Resurrection! May the empty tomb be a sign of hope, healing and love to all of us. Happy and Holy Easter!
